Ballot Measure 11 is an Oregon law that went into effect in 1995 (reaffirmed in 2000) directing the courts to impose mandatory minimum sentences for those convicted of serious felony crimes. Judges are restricted from granting lesser sentences reducing sentences due to good behavior.
